VMASC Welcomes New Members TASC and TQI Solutions, Inc.

The Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center is pleased to welcome TASC as new industry members and to our advisory board. TASC delivers sophisticated national security and public safety solutions to customers in the Intelligence Community, Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, and civilian agencies of the federal government, including FAA and NASA. They provide advanced systems engineering, integration and decision-support services and advising the government on a broad range of critical decisions.

Modeling and simulation has been at the core of TASC’s capabilities portfolio since their founding in 1966. Earliest programs include the Trident Submarine, Minuteman Missile and the Space Shuttle. Today, a large portion of TASC’s modeling and simulation projects and research investments are geared toward improving models in networks, sensor platforms and human behavior. TASC has also developed a 3-D immersive training simulation that generates avatars that respond to voice commands in several languages as well as a multi-discipline mission model that integrates physics-based models, large-mission models and associated financial models in order to offer their national security customers a globally optimal solution to large systems or systems problems.

VMASC also added TQI Solutions, Inc. as a partner in April. TQI Solutions, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides Test and Evaluation Support, System Engineering, Requirements Development, Acquisition Program and Project Management consulting. They focus on supporting major DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1 programs ranging from C4I and C2 systems to aircraft weapons systems.
